INDUSTRIAL RUBBER, URETHANE PARTS AND ABRASION RESISTANT WEAR LINERS
USI provides custom prefabricated metal and elastomeric “wear” products and services to reduce cost and downtime associated with the efforts of impact, sliding abrasion, and corrosion on metal surfaces. We can identify the correct elastomer, the appropriate chemistry, and the correct durometer for any given application. Various shapes, sizes, and thicknesses of the products listed on our website are available from USI in natural rubber, synthetic rubber, urethane, UHMW, AR400, Ni-Hard materials, or ceramic. Select products can be sourced with metal backing and / or with various weld plug or bolt hole patters.
RUBBER AND URETHANE SHEET AND SKIRTING
Polyurethane and rubber sheets are commonly used to line metal chutes, hoppers, and silos in industries such as mining, sand and gravel, coal, metals, recycling, bulk materials handling, and grain. Urethane and rubber liners provide defense against metal fatigue and wear from the harsh environments of many of the above mentioned industries. Additionally, liners provide noise or vibration abatement. In many applications, urethane and rubber will outlast AR or other metals several times over.
USI offers the following materials in the sheet form:
- Polyurethane (Urethane blends include polyester, polyether, MDI, TDI, and food grade)
- UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight Urethane
- Natural Rubber
- Synthetic Rubber
Our sheet products come in a variety of thicknesses, sheet sizes, colors, durometers, and backing choices. Sheet backing or fastening is available with weld plates (with weld plugs), steel backed (various thicknesses of steel to fit your application), expanded metal, and fabric backed. Non-reinforced sheeting can range in size between 1′ x 1′ and 10′ x 50′. Standard thickness range from 3/16″ to 1″. Thicknesses above 1″ are available upon request in lengths up to 10′.
Standard Urethane Sheet Sizes
(Non-reinforced or Plain Back)
USI also provides urethane skirting or flashing which works as a dust seal at a conveyor transfer point. USI urethane skirting lasts several times longer than traditional black rubber. Our skirting is available in a variety of sizes and can be made with beveled edges. USI urethane skirting is available in lengths up to 50′ and thickness ranging from (1/4″ to 1″ thick). 50′ rolls of 1/2″x4″ , 1/2″x6″ and 1/2″x8″ are our most popular.
URETHANE CROWN BAR LINERS
ZABCO urethane crown bar liners provide the best insurance you can buy to protect your urethane, rubber, wire, and perforated plate screens from premature failure or breakage. Our unique design allows the urethane liner to remain on the crown bar rail and does not allow it to roll off like rubber crown bar liners.
Our urethane liners will not dent like rubber crown bar liners. When rubber liners dent, screen tension is lost, resulting in screen failures. By not denting, our urethane liners help maintain tension on the screens, resulting in longer screen life. This makes our urethane crown bar liners ideal for highly loaded screens.
Our optimum design and premium urethane provide better abrasion resistance, which results in longer life, less downtime, and less maintenance, resulting in lower operating costs.
Results include:
- Longer screen life
- Longer crown rail life
- Less down time
- Labor savings
MODULAR IMPACT PADS
Our modular impact pads are a quick and cost effective way to fight wear and impact in harsh applications. We offer several different materials of construction to provide you with the proper and most cost effective wear resistant for your application. Materials of construction for our impact pads include rubber, urethane, and ceramic. Metal backing is standard. Standard sizes include 6″ x 12″, 12″x12″ and 12″x24″ inches work better for this product.
Standard thickness include 1/2″, 1 1/2″ and 2″. We can also custom make any size or thickness to the specific needs of your application. 1″ thickness as it is our most popular pad thickness to quote/sell.
Common applications include:
- Feed box, discharge lip, and vibrating screen box liners
- Chute and bin liners for coal, coke, iron ore pellets, copper ore, and hard rock
- Pan feeder liners
- Coveyor transition points
- Most impact applications
Installing our pads is easy.
Our impact pads can be bolted or welded to your equipment. If needed, we can manufacture our pads with threaded studs on the back.
