USI supplies ceramic embedded rubber sand screw shoes to protect sand classifier flights in washed sand production. High quality abrasion resistant ceramic cylinders are embedded into thick rubber and fused to a full metal backing plate. The equipment in this video is a McLanahan 44″ sand screw classifier producing concrete sand for a customer in southern California. Ceramic embedded rubber abrasion resistant wear shoes were supplied by Unique Solutions for Industry out of Henderson, NV. Previous installed cast metal Ni-Hard shoes lasted 2 years before needing to be replaced. This video was shot after the ceramic embedded rubber shoes were installed for almost one full year of production. We are expecting several years of wear and the life expectancy of these ceramic embedded rubber abrasion resistant wear shoes are expected to outlast the cast metal Ni-Hard shoes by many times over.

Unique Solutions for Industry installed Parma Star automatic single point lubrication systems to dispense grease into bearings on a belt filter press in a rock quarry in Las Vegas, NV. This unit consists of a reusable electro-mechanical drive unit and a single-use lubricant cartridge. Because the lubricator is mechanically driven the dispensing rate is independent of ambient temperature and back pressure. It also provides hermetically sealed lubrication points, keeping dust and moisture out of the equipment.

This video demonstrates the installation of a Weighlog Vue front end loader scale on a CAT 988G in Las Vegas, NV. This is the first scale of 5 total units being installed in the same rock quarry. This customer added GPS and Wifi. The GOS is being used for geo-fencing so that the loader identifies when it is near certain stock piles, and it selects the appropriate aggregate product for the operator. The wifi will be used for communication and data logging between all loader scales in the plant and the main office computers.
